Five books you should read today
1. "All about Love" by Bell Hooks
Everyone has formed their own ideas of true love and the magic it takes to make it. In here book the well known feminist writer shares on how we all can achieve happiness and share love in all of it's form's. The story really touches on and exposes the lies about love that have entangled so many of today's relationship's. You should read this book if your unsure what makes true love and why some people find love too soon.
2. "A good man is hard to find and other stories", by Flannery O'Connor
This book is from the 1950's and yet it's stories can go hand in hand with the lives of people today. Short stories fill the book with different characters each going through some hardship and tragedy. Full of dark humor and entertaining characters.
3. "Always happy hour", by Mary Miller
Sixteen different female characters and their stories of love, addictions, children and friendships make up this title. The settings of each story range from college campuses to rickety and raggedy trailer parks. Each story brings something new to the literature table.
4."How to win friends & influence people", by Dale Carnegie
This is not a new book as it was written and published back 75 years ago. However, the ideas and concepts discussed in the reading has been able to help many successful people reach goals previously thought unattainable. This is a must read for everyone looking to expand the critical analysis skills it takes to make success.
5. "Think and grow rich" by Napoleon Hill
This is what great motivational reading is all about, inspiring theories that teach of success through careful planning and strategic execution. The writing really builds on the author's Laws of Success. Many successful people have read this book making it worth the buy.
